Facebook, twitter, instagram, linked in are the best but there is one new also known as SNAPCHAT. Snapchat is both a messaging platform and a social network. It can't be used from the regular we and exists only as a mobile app you can download to your iPhone or Android smartphone. Users can “chat” with their friends by sending them photos, short videos up to 10 seconds long.
For me Facebook provide highest number of traffic. I usually use paid advertising on Facebook and it was really effective.
I totally agrees with @danasurvey today's social media marketing is much more effective as compared to other types of Internet marketing which we used to do 4-5 years back
Facebook for sure, I agree that it is a great way for leads, but when getting traffic and leads, why not use other social networks too? like Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn
I think Instagram, becouse this social network is growing very fast and have good audience. "Monthly Instagram audience grew by 100 million for six months" - via VC. While Twitter do not overstate own perfomance.
I use Facebook to keep upto date with family and close friends but Instagram is the one I am hoping to use more for promotion.
I really am gonna have to say Twitter and Reddit, they are just easy to use and bring in the traffic that I want.
HI all, If you are looking for best social site fo your business then keep one thing in mind. All Social sites are different for Every business. LIke if you want to Promote B2C then you can use Sites like.Facebook. If you want to promote B2B then Linkedin is best. You have to research on that. Beast of luck!!!
As far as marketing is concerned, I think facebook is the best platform. You can post ads (individual or paid) and target to concerned audience and you can get results, its proven.
You really want to make sure that you are posting in an area that is relevant to your website, I mainly have done it in subreddits that are for web development and claim it as a project. Just make sure that you are complying with the subreddits guidelines and sometimes I even contact the moderators to make sure that it is allowed. I have gotten a couple hundred users to come to my site from it in less than 24 hours. I dont do this a whole lot but I do know that it really helps because it also allows people to give you feedback on your site.
To be honest, I love Instagram. The combo of Stories and posts is a great asset in growth and branding. If it is in terms of financial earning of a social platform, I am looking forward to a new app called Spur (www.spur.io) which is in pre-launch and is just stories like IG/Snapchat but lets you monetize the viewers. So that could become the next trendy thing. Otherwise I stick with traditional livestream platforms like Musical.ly and YouNow.
