Nothing to do with the niche, it's just crappy traffic. Visitors just "stumble" on different pages, and never engage with the content being shared.
The way content is shared on the social network is fundamentally flawed. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to understand why.
Lol No you don't have to be a rocket scientist to understand that my answer was to the OP question. My niche videos recieved a lot of traffic when I "stumbled" them... You sure don't have to be a rocket scientist to feel that you are being trolled..just my opinion!
I am not denying the social network can send alot of traffic. But inflating traffic numbers isn't what is important to me.
The goal is quality traffic that leads to conversions. So if you can inflate quality traffic numbers and the number of conversions, that's a good thing no matter where the traffic comes from.
Social network website popularity based on people location(Country). Example: USA: Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest, Tumblr India: Facebook china:Weibo Brazil: Facebook etc..!!!!

Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter, Google+ Reddit, Digitalpoint. is best way to drive traffic your site/blog easy.
Before deciding what channel you want to use, take a step back and figure out where your intended audience is more likely to be. Take demographics and all into account. Every popular social media channel can be helpful, it's more about you aiming for the right audience. Good luck!
All the above sites are good for bringing traffic towards your website. But i personally like facebook.
I think each social network has its advantages and disadvantages when it comes to getting more traffic. Maybe Facebook and Twitter are the most used social networks. In general nowadays Social Media and SEO are connected and many specialists use Social Media as a channel for advertising, link building, etc. I came across this article: http://www.dynomica.eu/seo-and-social-media-friends-or-strangers/ Maybe it would be useful for you.
It really depends on your aims and your product! I've had best results on Instagram because, being image based, its extremely easy to make a marketing post look like a regular post. But Facebook can be much better for growing communities around your product. And Twitter is awesome for keeping people updated about your company.
