Hi All! I have a question regarding the hosting of emails. I have 20-30 clients who I have created small websites for. I also provide about 50-60 email addresses to these clients. My Setup: I have purchased reseller hosting with Site5 and I have basically setup all my email accounts via cpanel connected with that particular domain. I have noticed (plus getting some reports from clients) that some emails havent been received by them and some minor glitches etc. I have also noticed mail getting stuck at the server when sending between these. My Question What the best way to host multiple email accounts for my clients (something quite reliable). Should I transfer to a new more reliable hosting? OR do I have to look into specific email servers? Any suggestions?
I would either use a email script such as B1gMail or swap to a more reliable web host. If you need a new hosting solution feel free to contact me Good luck!
Thanks mate but I am not that well versed in German. I was more of a general question......What do the big web designers do for large companies? Do they have dedicated servers where their email are run from? Is setting up email via cpanel a piss-poor solution?
If you want 100% assured mail deliverability the only choice will be Google apps if the mails are legitimate and used only for communication purpose( you cannot use it for mass mailing) Just set up the Apps for their domains and give them the login, it works fine. In normal Google apps account you can have 200-500 mail ids per domain
