The best selling strategy

I am planning to create a product wich will contain ebook/eReport (not more then 40 pages) and software: 2 computer programs, (ebook can be used without these programs).

The topic of my product will be domain business, there is no such ebook in my language so i guess this is kind of niche.

My question is what will be the easiest selling strategy?

I was thinking about:
1. Giving away ebook for signing up for mailing list, and selling the software
2. Selling ebook and software in a package
3. Other? (please describe)

 

Give out the first chapter as a sample. If people like it, they will buy it to continue reading.

 

I think giving out a chapter of your book is a good idea, some marketers have done this. You could also write an article on the same topic and post it to the article directories with a link back to your products.

 

Thanks for advice guys, i like the idea with free chapter of the book.

Writing an article is also good but, in my language there is no such thing as article directory (maybe it is good idea to popularyze it).

But maybe sending news relases to ebusiness websites will be good?
Or maybe sending for free whole book to some ebusiness guru and ask him for review or something?
