hey guys first post I have just made some good profit with $3000 set aside for internet investing. Just wanted to know if you guys could lead me in the right direction as although i am an experienced web designer/developer i have absolutely no Marketing experience. After doing a bit of research should i invest in my own sites/projects to drive traffic and pull profit via adsense or buy an already established website and learn from what someone else has done! Thanx for all the input in advance!
give me that money, i need it badly if you can earn from your sites thats way, then you know really what should you do next... HINT: LOL, send me that money actually
Hehehehe, if it was 2005 I'd give you a list of online casinos and strategies that would turn that 3k into 10k within a month or so But now.... *sigh* I'm wondering myself what to invest into :/
Hahahah! well we'll see if you make me an offer i can't refuseee! But i think im being lazy established sites rmove a lot of hassle but dont give the same satistfaction
In my opinion...I think it's a lot quicker to make money when you buy an already established site. You can find really nice ones here on DP. Go to the "Buy, Sell, Trade" section, and look for sites that are already generating good money.
But whoo to trust?? So many con men/women... I have learnt to only do business with people you have already established a relationship with. Im only 20 and i kno i have a very old fashioned mindset but it has worked for me so far. I still know where your coming from...
Your 20 years old!!! I'm 23!!! I suggest that you invest a part of this money to learn how to build websites, when you are 20 years old, you understand things faster...
LOL, don't gamble. I have spent over 20,000 hours in Vegas casinos and I have over a decade of casino industry experience. I can't even begin to tell you how many people using "systems" that I've watched lose it all. I know of over 500 systems that I can think of off the top of my head and I'm pretty positive that I've seen them all. Betting on black isn't a 50/50 chance. In American Roulette, it's a 47.36% chance and it pays even money. In European Roulette, it's an even-money wager that has a 48.65% probability.
You're right - GAMBLING IS DANGEROUS. I was obsessed with a little while, trying out all kinds of scam systems. Doesn't work well Luckily I'm past that phase now If you have $3000 extra money, stick half in a savings account and maybe try outsourcing a few info products and sales letters. Then promote it yourself or outsource that too. Good luck
Apple stocks right now are super hot. They've shot up like 33 points in just a few months. From what I've read, they're going to continue to rise because of the backend profits of the iphone. Once their quarterly earnings report comes out, I expect it to jump like crazy. If you want to sign up for scottrade (which is what I use), I can send you an invite to get 3 free trades.
Keep it. Don't be in any hurry to invest it. When the opportunity arises you will be ready to grap it. Lose the money now and you will feel sorry later
Apple has been on fire all year, since they announced the iPhone. Google, ooo just the name makes me, um well anyway. Google's price target is $600-$650 by year's end. I like them both. Apple's iPhone numbers so far are like that cocaine taste you do before you make a big buy. Their 2008-2009 numbers will be very healthy. They do have some issues to address, and while much of this is priced into the stock already, I expect Apple to do just fine. Note: I don't do or buy cocaine or endorse it's use. I watch movies people. The stock market has been pure bull speed all year long. The 2nd half of 2007 is going to be like pounding down 10 Red Bulls in under a minute. Anyway, if you set up a diversified portfolio now with $3k, you can still see 10-20% growth by the end of 2007 with the right choices.
Stock trading with a $3,000 budget? Horrible idea, no offense. Invest in an established website that you see rising in popularity. Pay up to 12 months revenue and do more than the previous owner did to make the website more popular than it was before. Websites are the best investments ever.
1: Start a sites about students where members can submit their stories, tips, projects. 2: Go to local colleges, universities and Craigslist, post ad that you will pay $1 per submission of 200 words or more and person MUST be an active student. 3: $2000 and one month later, you'll have a site with about 2200 articles, tips and other student related content. 4: Month 2, run a contest of $100 for the person who invites most users to the site. No more $1 per submission. 5: Run same contest for 5 months. ===================================== Software/script to do the functions I described above: Free - $200. Hosting for first 6 months (I do not recommend ANY advertisement during this time): $300 $1 per submission X 2000 submission + about 200 shorter than requirement articles, tips: $2000. Invite users contest: $500. ===================================== I would like only a $100 for this consulting advice if you use it.
THAT IS AMAZING!! this is what im talking about!! I love research new ideas i wouldnt have thought about something like that in years!! Thanx so much, im prob not in a position right now to use it but great thanx for the idea if i do use i'll be sure to contact you becuase im sure theres more where that came from!! Thanx for all the input, dnt know how we got onto the gambling topic lol!! If anyone has a project they would like to propose im open to discussions also could someone elaborate on buying stock and scottrade sounds interesting!!!
47, 48, might as well be 50. an even money bet means when he wins he'll have twice as much money as when he started. It takes 30 seconds and you double your money. How can that not be good? In fact I think I'm gonna spend this weeks paycheck down at the casino.
