I would like to know the places where we can find a lot of quality reciprocal link partners..

Someone suggested me linkmarket .. are there any better and good places offcourse apart from DP forums..which surely is one of the best.

I am not looking for automated link exchange sites but the ones which give the ability to accept, reject and decide the pages etc

    Abhilash.

I suggest Linkmetro.com , the people who would link back to you is 85%...that's my case though.

Don't really understand what does that mean... NOT automated LE site, BUT with the ability to exchange automatically? ???

I'd say that "the best place to get reciprocal link partners" is Google ;) A lot of quality sites (if any) don't participate in any linking programs, but you can take a look at some of them yourself if you still wanna do it:

    - LinkMarket
    - LinkMachine
    - LinksManage
    - LinkSwapper
    - ...

I would suggest you being careful about using Linkmetro... A LOT of people on this (any many) other forums say it's B.S. - just search this forum for "linkmetro" to find out what other people think

I used link metro, and hated it. Got request from low PR MFA everyday.. and link quality is low

I would suggest linkmarket.net but only the paid version. You get to check the pagerank + send unlimited link requests. Before you trade links though, I would suggest you to check the website's link pages to make sure they do not cheat.

From my experience I was able to get some good reciprocal links.

:) I was always wondering why do you guys use all those linkmarkets etc, if it's only advantage is "check the pagerank + send unlimited link requests". And you even have to check your link partners manually to see whether they'are cheating or not... Oh, this can be easily done automatically (I mean anti-cheating), and, what is more, there ARE tools which allow you doing this - so what's the main advantage of all these linkmarkets?

I wouldn’t necessary say these program hold much advantage over other tools. Most reasons people are probably attracted to linkmarket because

It is cheap. For $25 a year, that’s not bad. It is way to find partners that you already know that want to trade links.

I noticed from my personal experience that at linkmarket my reciprocal link requests are accepted more often and quickly than by searching for a partner via search engine and then emailing the webmaster.

I would say programs like these are an addition to other methods you might use to find link partners

    Thank you for answering me.

Could you please tell me what is the response rate to your link exchange requests sent from linkmarket? Approximately, of cause... (e.g. "I get positive replies to the 50 (30/10/2)% of my requests")

    Thank you in advance.

Depends a lot on PR. If your site has PR and you share that PR throughout your site so it filters to your link pages you will get a lot more link requests accepted than rejected, mostly because you're not being a cheaty-pants. :)

Im using linkmarket atm, and since i went PR5 im off course getting more requests. Pity 90% are casino sites, but if there decently designed and have a decent rank, PR3 at least, than im not anti-casino.

Ive found a couple problems with linkmarket though.

    1) If you sent of a request for a link, and the link exchange fails, you get "Link Exchange failed" a big X next to peoples links in the link market directory. This happened with me a few times when i was being a bit ambitious and sent of requests to sites that were PR4 etc...when I had PR0 :) Now im sure some of these sites would be keen to trade with me, but there doesnt seem to be a way to turn the failure flag off, or perhaps im missing something.

    2) If you move the page, or rename a page, a link partners link was on...it aint that good at checking for alternative pages...linkmachine is better at this.

I am currently with linkmarket. It is easy to use. I have been satisfied overall.

But sometimes an annoyance to those who want to exchange with you. I would think that some of the people who want to exchange would look at your site first. On one site I have no gambling/poker sites clearly listed on my front page. Yet I would say I get about 30 - 40% of those sites wanting to do exchanges are in the gambling industry. And even so they are not even related to my site.

I know one thing I have been reading is to get link exchanges that are related to your site. The site I have is a paidposting site. I would prefer to have links that are related to web design, hosting, directories, web master forums and so on. Not rolex watches, prada shoes, diamonds and gambling sites. I even had two pest control sites requesting link exchanges.

I guess it really is up to you, the webmaster, to determine what sites you want to link with. After all, you need to approve a link request initially.

I do know that Linkmarket.net has the option for you to select what categories of website you are willing to link with; e.g. internet, computers, etc. Of course some webmasters will deliberately place their (gambling / pharma) site in another category to get around this but it does cut down on the spammy stuff if you take a few minutes to tick the checkboxes.

There is a major improvement due on Linkmarket.net ... I believe the guy said it would be around June / July when a bulk select / approve / delete option gets added.

I myself hate linkmetro because people are putting my site on pages with 100 other links and they have like 9 or 10 such pages. I can understand the need of doing this as linkmetro ask you to put other parties link first, and normally people put all the links at once, over populating the page but still the quality of pages are very poor.

The better thing is to contact good sites yourself on linkmetro rather than waiting for others to contact you :)

Linkmetro and other link exchange programs send you lots and lots of unrelated websites with low PR every day. Most of them not even vaguely related to your theme. Plus these websites are newly established and have no PR.

IMO you should try finding link partners yourself rather than depending on these sites solely.
