Hey there, I was wondering if someone with fairly good experience with adsense could tell me what they think of my ads and where/how they are placed.

If you have any better suggestions it would be much appreciated.

Not bad, but I would suggest putting adsense between each news post

gobbly2100, I just noticed that you are labelling the ads on your site as "online gaming" that isn't allowed by Google.

Here's a quick review of your site - hope it helps :) :

    Footer Ad
In my experience these don't work very well. I would personally get rid of it and instead place a square or rectangular content ad at the top of the first paragraph "Welcome to Online-Multiplayer.com the place we work to bring...". I would also get rid of the border and change the color of the link text for the rectangular ad to blend it in more nicely with your page.

*Edit* Seems like you've just changed it as I was posting this... lol

    Channels
Also I noticed you have used 1 channel for all the ads. This really isn't the way you should be monitoring your ads... For all you know 1 of the ads could be performing really badly but you wouldn't notice it due to the other ads performing well and making up for the low CTR etc...

Setup individual channels for each of the ads. Get one for your link unit, one for your right hand ad, one for the ad at the top etc... Then you can see which ads are performing better than others, and which ones need improvement etc...

    Relevancy
The relevancy of the ads seem to be good so nothing you can do there. :)

The "AdSense Optimization" section of my site may help you increase the efficiency of your ads further.

    Hope that helps :D

Ah thanks for your input, I get about 1,000 unique hits a day with the site and I make about $2 -$3 on average, Does anyone have any comments on that as in is that low for the amount of hits am getting?

You can do better. Throw in a square or rectangle at the top & implement the ads blacklist.

    Yeh, I agree.

Remove the 'Online Gaming' as it is decieving and also against Googles TOS.
