I am no stranger to the world of payment-processing online, having gone through various services. What I would like to know is what Internet service would best suite me if I were to leave money in an account at a payment processor, (Let's say $700) for a year, and then be able to withdraw to a bank-account or by postal/cheque? The reason I ask is that in past experience I left money in money bookers for 6 months, come back and what do you know? It's locked because I forgot my password and tried 3 times over, or in Pay-pal I got my account locked permanently after using to many Visa's, when the truth was they were simply pre-paid visa gift cards each holding $25 that I got from friends over Christmas Overall I really want to know what other peoples experiences are, and what they think the most reliable payment-processor is, and have had few (If any) troubles with accounts being locked, banned etc. for trivial reasons.
I would advise against keeping large sums of money in an online payment services account. I don't think that any of the payment services currently operating hold all (or full) banking and financial service licenses in Australia. Hence they can do pretty much almost whatever they want with your account (and your money). PayPal can, for example, suspend your account and freeze your balance at any time, while your Aussie banks can't do that.
Don't keep funds long-term on any site. I would recommend placing them in your local bank even though the interest rate is probably really low. Paypal does have a reputation on limited MANY users.
