    I have whole lot of favorite movies, which i think are the best..... some of them are....

    The bicycle thieves.(Italian film, one of the best ever.)
    Forrest Gump.(i love tom hanks in it)
    Shawshank Redemption.(great story screenplay)
    Titanic.(An epic romantic story)
    And
    Apu Trilogy.(A true master class by the great satyajit Ray.)

    Batman - The dark night
    V for Vendetta
    Lord of the rings trilogy :)

    Haven't seen Shawshank redemption in a few years, but apparently it is the best film ever made, so i guess that would be in there too.

    Titanic is overated and is so not the best movie of all time - snore fest

    BTW OP your location says Sidney. Australia - if you are really in oz you will know its spelt Sydney with a y?

    Its a personal thing and something that is hard to come to a collective agreement on bcos everyone likes different types of movies.........

    From your list only - Dark Knight is the best easily
