First of all, i'm new to this forum, but i've been reading for a few days trying to get the best method of advertising for my site through various means. Here in a few months, i'm going to get up a huge entertainment type site and i'm trying to get the most out of it to help give me and my staff a decent income. Here's just a basic plan I came up with and feedback is greatly appreciated. I've seen debated what's the best method for getting money, CPA, CPM, or CPC? Why not all 3? If you can get one or two of your own ads from commission junction, a YPN leaderboard for your CPC, and a related advertisement from a CPM why not go for it? I would really like to average out a penny a person if at all possible, because I could expect to get a million + views per month. Would it be possible to say getting a $1 per person by just running a variation of all 3 of these methods? Here's what i've looked at from a CPM view: 35/1000 CPC clicks = $7 CPM Popunders 1000 = $3 1/1000 CPA Sales = $10 Grand Total = $20 for 1000 views I could completely misunderstand the way CPM works, but isn't that so much money as $3 for 1,000 unique page views. That's awful compared to what you could be making. Once again, feedback on this is greatly appreciated.
