    Hi

I'm trying to develop a landing page.
I would like it to be compliant to Google's guidelines (so I'd get high score) as well as any other best practice overall and all that...
Feel free to share any tips and/or tricks that you learned during course of your struggles.
and as usual to kick this thread in the right gear I'll start first...

    this is very general guide:

From what I've learned over the years, simplicity is golden. Keep things simple and to the point so that visitors never get lost in a whirlwind of information.

I was told the best way to go about it is to ask for one action, and one action only on your page.

Definitely agree with smile - dont get into offering different revenue streams i.e. dont do google adsense :) Keep it to one affiliate product on a recommendation basis or 2 / 3 if you are reviewing them against each other.

My best advice would be to keep it simple - your "job" as an affiliate should be to pre-sell rather than do the full hard sell on them. This basically means giving them some information, reviewing the product, showing them the benefits, telling them how it worked for you - getting them interested and having to click through to the vendor site for more information basically.

Landing pages will all vary depending on the niche, but to get some ideas on what works in the niche you want to try I would recommend looking at other people's pages - just go to google and type in "product name review" and see what comes up - if there are any PPC ones look at these - these guys are paying to be there so their landing pages *should* be working :)

    Hope this helps!
