I'm interested to find out the most popular keywords while searching for paid directories. Did someone having paid directory make such analysis? Please share your experience - I think it will interesting for all. I can assume that the most useful keywords are: top paid directories SEO directory deep link directory
Anyone searching for top paid directories and not investigating each one individually afterwards might end up p**sed off if they decide to spend their budget that way so maybe consider some other keyword phrases. Im not sure that a submitter will search for seo directory either. Though they may perform a search to do with their niche. deep link directory may indeed be a popular search by submitters if they know what a deeplink is, but this is not exclusive to paid directories, as there are a number of free directories that offer deeplinks, and thats deeplinks as in allowing you to submit some inner pages at the same time as submitting your homepage, or just directories that allow you to submit inner pages in general. Maybe submitters looking to use paid directories wont necessarily search for paid directories in the search engines but might just type in web directory knowing that most of those ranking higher will have promoted their directories well, which may be more beneficial to the submitter than merely the fact that they are paid directories. Look beyond the obvious If i look for clothes online im probably not going to search for expensive clothes instead i might look for a specific designer label or search for mens designer jeans or similar.

Use the google keyword tool and you will be able to find some to target. None of those mentioned here will do much for you except business directory - but good luck with that one.... deep link directory gets a whopping 880 searches per month - half might be from threads like this one... Paid directory a bit better at 5400 per month but imo that is hardly worth targeting. There are a few that get a good amount of searches which one just would not typically think of targeting, but you can find them if you look.
