I was a huge fan of the first Uncharted game on PS3 - I played it so much that I am surprised my PS3 didn't die! I was super excited when I heard about Uncharted 2... When I first saw game play of it, I freaked out! Upon release date, I bought the game and made sure not to play too much... I would limit the amount of time I would play it - Two hours, once a week. I then got 50% through the game and totally stopped playing it because I simply didn't want it to end. I picked it up a couple weeks ago again and I JUST finished it about a week ago. Uncharted 2, for me, was even better than the first installment. The graphics, of course, are really nice but what really got me was the extremely diverse environments. There is a ridiculous amount of different kinds of game play that all revolve around one main goal and one main control scheme. There are things you encounter later on in the game that involve the execution of certain tasks that were non-existent anywhere prior in the game, and it was always a pleasant surprise to see what came next! What was even more impressive, in my opinion, is that once you get past the initial cache-loading at the beginning of the game... There is not ONE loading screen throughout the ENTIRE game for as long as you play it in one sitting. All of the cut-scenes were skip-able and, if skipped, one could go directly back into game play within a second or two. Not only is it one of my favorites (right under Chrono Trigger!) but I have to admit that it is probably one of the best games I have ever played!
