the best forums to post in for seo purposes, may not be the highest PR forums.

This might be a little cheeky to post here, but I think many people may be here for their sigs to link back to their sites. No seriously!

So here is my question. If you post in several forums, how do you know which ones are giving you the most benefit. Obviously for most of us, link relevancy is out the window, and in fact may not Google downgrade posts made in site about seo?

If you regard all of this, and just try and find a dofollow forum that has good PR, isnt that PR usually for the homepage, not your individual post page?

SOOOOOO, if we are to continue this line of thought, would the best threads to post on, just be the oldest threads with the most comments, and views, which would give them the most PR, even though they have the most sigs with active URL links, which would give the most link juice dilution?

    What do you Guru's say?

PR is just a number i never woeked/or take it in consideration

Whqwt is PR 5 now can become PR 0 tomorrow ... and viceversa

PR and RANKINGS are 2 difrent things ...

Yes I agree with this point that PR and ranking both are different and not has any relation between them.
