The best email service for my blog subscribers...for free

    I have just over 1000 subscribers by email. I'm just interested what you lot would recommend for a simple email service.

    I send emails only 2 or 3 times a month

    The best would be Aweber but its not for Free.
    MailChimp allows you to have a free account if you have less than 2000 subscribers.
    So you might wanna check this out.
    It's not as good as Aweber and doesn't like a few niches(MMO niche for example).

    MailChimp is probably best for you now. As @Alex Leizerovich mentioned, you can only have a max of 2000 subscribers on a free account. Still, it's free and will meet your needs. When it comes time to pay I think aweber is probably the best.

    Thanks for the reply. I did use mailchimp, but couldn't stop emails going into the promotion tab - I tried everything. Ended up using Madmimi. Seems to be going good
