Positive for Magento is easy synchronization with other webapps (CRM, accounting, email marketing etc). Saving time = saving money, no one has time to re-type the same data in different places. Shopify and Bigcommerce also have good integration options.

I'm surprised no one has responded to this question!

The difference is pretty huge, and important. Important enough that I'll necro-post, in hope that you get this message! haha

The Magento Community Edition (or Magento CE) is free. Totally free. But this means you get no official support. Now, there are a ton of message boards dedicated to Magento (including their official one), and you can find developers to help you really get your site looking and feeling exactly the way you want.

The regular version of Magento is the paid version. With it you'll get official support and other resources that will help you out.

Hope this helps! Happy selling and good luck. :D

Hey, just a friendly heads up -- your blog has an awful lot of grammatical errors.

It looks like the content you have is great. So just cleaning up the grammar might actually help out your traffic & bounce rates in a real big way.

If you want a store that can be fully customized on the back-end as well as the front-end Drupal with Ubercart or Commerce shopping carts is superior to magento or any of the online solutions.
