I just bought their Directory+ theme, but it won't successfully save options, and you have to remove/add the theme again to get it working after trying to save... ugh!
Here are some tips that can help you to choose the right theme: - it must be responsive - the theme must be adapt to any device that's being used to view the website. Luckily, almost all contemporary themes are responsive; - pick a theme specific to your industry - each theme has its own personality, and it's best if that personality suits your business model and is appealing to your target market; - don't overcomplete it - keep your theme as simple as possible. Most famous sites are tend to be noticeable uncomplicated; - it should be easy to customize - you need to make some tweaks, rearrange some elements, and customize it in a few different places; - wrapping it up - take a few moments to start browsing some theme libraries and create a short list of your favorites and then decide on which one is the best.
I've seen quite a few good ones on ThemeForest.net such as this one: https://themeforest.net/item/spotguide-high-performance-directory-wordpress-theme/14275061 Pick those that are selling well with high rating.
Well there are a lot of themes for directory website but why would you want to waste your time and build one? Creating one that really works nowadays is really hard task and if you ask me you should not waste your time doing that. With google search updates directories website don't have much effect and you will probably won't be able to make profit on it.
I am using "Mylisting" WordPress theme for one of my directories and I really like it. But, I might be a bit biased because i also love Elementor which it uses. The price was very reasonable for the theme and has a lot of features Check Out The Demo https://mylisting.27collective.net/my-city/
