Check out costa rica. Thats were ive been looking. A lot of expats.

Just in case you decide to stay in country, may I suggest New Hampshire. Its freakin cold but its like living in a free country.
    NH has:
    No income tax
    no sales tax
You can openly carry a gun without a permit
    Shall issue for concealed.
Hardly any police in the state.
    Very little crime
    Small governemt
If the SHTF you can get sneak into canada thru the woods.
There are snowmoblie and ATV trials thruout the state.
    No seatbelt laws.
    No mandatory car insurance
Has A small gov that believes people can make thier own desicions.
Close to Boston for the nightlife.

Kinda hard to explian but when I went to NH I felt like I was going to a free country.

That's not an exception to the rule, that's the rule. Where you have firearms in the hands of private citizens, you have less violent crime. Read all about it in gun facts.

It is only in places where fascist laws unnaturally suppress peoples feelings of personal responsibility that issues such as violent crime run out of control.

Some how I can't help but feel that I personally would be slightly off put by the whole, everyone carrying a gun thing. I mean there is something really scary about know that everyone you walk past has the ability to end you life in a moment, and I mean I don't like the idea of working out arguments through means of fear.

Imagine you're in the street and someone says something disrespectful to you and you turn as say "I'd appreciate if you didn't talk like that about me" and then they turn and go "My glock says you should shut your face". You only response would be "Yes sire!". I dunno that's just me - but I'm a naive Aussie that doesn't know much about violent crime, because over here carrying guns just doesn't seem to happen.

LOL this is going off topic, but I remember the time I was travelling through Europe and my self and a couple of mates were in Amsterdam and some druggie tried to hold us up, he was like "Oi give me your money" and we were like "Huh...? Why?" and then he went "Because I got a gun" and at first I was about to laugh and then I realised he was serious - you can imagine my shock. So my mate gave him 20 euro and he pissed off. But we were blown away that sort of stuff just never happens back here in Australia. I'm 21 years old and I have never seen a gun unless it was strapped to a policeman. It was a rude awakening to what the rest of the word is like, and I have to say I hate walking around in some cities just because I knew there were people like that everywhere.

    Australia rocks!

LOL yeah I am from the city... Brisbane. 1.5 million people and I don't know what percentage of people would have guns but it would be extremely small and they'd never take them into public.

And in hindsight I don't think the guy said "Oi" that's a pretty Aussie thing to say, but he said something to that effect.

NZ would be my choice. I am not sure about the taxation laws there - otherwise it meets all your requirements.

It's a beautiful place , not so expensive and with easy-going life.

Malta is on Wikipedia's list of Tax Havens, which is a good thing.

Think about this people, if you are making $240k/yr from AdSense and you are paying 35% of it in income taxes, that means that you are paying $84,000 in income taxes.

If you move to a place where these earnings are not taxed, you just increased your income by $84,000/yr.

Some countries, such as the United States have bizarre tax laws which state that you still owe taxes to the U.S. -- even if you don't live in the U.S. However, you do get around an $80k deduction for living overseas. That still saves you quite a bit.

And, of course, there are another legal trick to reduce that tax burden much further. You can form a foreign corporation which holds your profits. You are then only taxed on profits which you take out of the corporation. The mass of the money sites and earns interest, tax free. It's like a super 401k.

I see this as the future of SEO. The Internet is a global phenomena, there is very little reason for most of us to be living in crowded cities full of crime and pollution. Be free! Move your SEO business to your new mansion in the jungle. :)

Ok, I held off on joining this thread earlier, and I've failed to read the whole thing, but i'll still mention what i believe to be a decent place to travel and live. Shanghai, China. The nightlife here kicks ass, new bars open every night, and the most you'll spend for a bottle of drink at the swankiest of places is 10$ a bottle.. on the low side at a swinging club you have a nice low of 1.25$. The girls are plentiful, and very beautiful, plus they think your incredibly good looking, have a good personality, and your rich (which never hurts).

I really can't see settling down under a totalitarian communist regime. :p

Plus, I've already got a beautiful Arabic wife who wouldn't be too happy if I were to become too friendly with the local girls. We might have some Arab terrorism in my own household. :D

How about Switzerland? Low taxes, lowest murder rate in the western world, and every male 18-35 is required to have a government issued rifle.
