Hi all, I thought I share with you the best book experience I have had for the past six months or so. It was when I read the book called The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch. From the book/homepage: On September 18, 2007, computer science professor Randy Pausch stepped in front of an audience of 400 people at Carnegie Mellon University to deliver a last lecture called “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams.†With slides of his CT scans beaming out to the audience, Randy told his audience about the cancer that is devouring his pancreas and that will claim his life in a matter of months. On the stage that day, Randy was youthful, energetic, handsome, often cheerfully, darkly funny. He seemed invincible. But this was a brief moment, as he himself acknowledged. I really recommend that you read the book. Do you have any recommendations regarding a book you have read during the past months? Jens
I am not much into reading books but the last book that I read was Rich Dad, Poor Dad. I was very impressed by that book.
A Game of Thrones. This is part of the epic A Song of Ice and Fire series. I have actually read all of these before, but I am re-reading the series because the next book should be coming out soon. It had been scheduled to come out in October, but it looks like it has been pushed back several months now
The only books I've been reading is my note books, filled with study notes... XP But other than that, I would say Brisingr a week ago.
I am a fan of good books. I read almost all type of books. But i like fantasy novels very much. My favorite book is The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkein. This book was written during the word war II. It is translated into many languages and make a film related to this book.
