hi all, i plan to start a new blog for my site and i was searching for a good blogging software. i found several blogging software but was confused which one i should start with. i would like to know your suggestions, let me know which is the best so i can start my blog
I would say the best is Wordpress. But you should use Wordpress from Wordpress.org not .com. Wordpress.com is a free host but does not allow any advertising at all. To use Wordpress software you have to have your own web host. The web host I use offers mulitple wordpress accounts and it's is very easy to set up. Wordpress also offers the most as far as plugins and themes. There are thousands of free wordpress themes available online.
Wordpress for sure, it's constantly improving, has loads of plugins and themes and is free. Can't beat that.
Definitely agree - if you want a 100% free site that you can make money from, blogspot is the way to go since it allows ads. Otherwise, go with wordpress.

Right, go for Wordpress. There are a plenty of themes, plugins, features and what is the most important - user base. Wordpress users are everywhere you look and if you get in trouble they can easily help you. Wordpress cannot be a bad choice.
If you have your own domain go with wordpress. If not there is typepad.com, wordpress.com, blogger.com and rapidblogs.com. I've only have experience with www.blogger.com or www.rapidblogs.com both of which are good.

I would say WordPress. I haven't used any others but I know from replies like above that there is nothing better than WordPress.
