The best blogging decision ???

Hi people i am making sci-fi domain so i need to know what is the best way to host my blog on my own domain and hosting.I dont need xxx.blogspot.com or wordpress i need to be on my own host and already bought a domain name.How to do that ?

 

Well, if going with WordPress you will need a few things:

1. Domain name (you got that already)
2. A host - I recommend hostgator, but other might disagree.
3. Once you get hosting account - you will get DNS servers. Point your registrar for your domain to those servers.
4. Login to your host and install wordpress. You can do it via Fantastico but I recommend you do it manually. WordPress.org has excellent documentation on it ...
