1800BANNERS I found this banner exchange and was quite impresed that they have had today for example. 102,000 clicks and over 56 million ads served just today. Their ad network consists of over 31,000 sites. Not sure how the clickthrough will be though. Apparently they do have fraud protection as well. So like I said I haven't tried it out yet but when I do I will let you know. Just wanted your opinion on the company. Have you guys used it before and what kind of response clickthrough, sales, roi. All the normal stats. Also if you try them out in the future can you please post your espierence of them here good or bad. search 1800BANNERS in google to get to there website and tell me what you think. thankyou in advanced
I've used them for a little less then two months. I currently have an upgraded membership which allows me to get all kinds of nice extra features, mainly targeting options. For many of the more attractive banners, I've had a CTR of around 0,5-0,6 % which isn't bad in comparison to many other banner exchanges. The traffic doesn't seem to convert very well though. I suppose it's a pretty good service if one has realistic expectations. I know there are some negative reviews of this exchange at places like IM Report Card. Perhaps one should take some of those with a grain of salt but it's still good to know that not everyone if satisfited with this service.
they are really good at promoting your traffic not good for CPA though. only problem is that they dont pay publishers if they are in the publisher program. they are good for exchange though.
I'm curious as to what you are selling and also did you get good sales convertions with other ad agencies? Did you make any sales what so ever with your banner advertising with 1800banners.
I didn't promote CPA offers with them for very long after noticing that they don't convert well. But I do remember that at least one CPA offer conversion for a "free" Dell laptop (with a slightly redefined concept of "free", as is the case with CPA) did occur. (And yes, the same CPA offers have had better conversion rates on certain other ad networks.) But I have other uses for their traffic, which is why I've kept my upgraded membership for now. I suppose one interesting thing to try out would be the CTR for Adsense on landing pages to which traffic is directed from banner clicks by this network. (Or one might use some other ad network if suspecting problems with Adsense.) I'd guess that many people who use their ad exchange code are using it on pages that get impressions from traffic exchanges or other forms of paid traffic, so that somewhat explains why the quality of traffic isn't necessarily very high. It is still pretty good for some purposes (originating from TEs or not, if a person clicks a banner, it indicates some level of interest). I especially like the geotargeting option that comes with upgraded membership.
