I'm using NOD 32 and Kaspersky on different PC's. Both are good, but Kaspersky uses too much RAM. Also F-Secure and Bitdefender are good. Maybe this antivirus rankings will help you to choose
I honestly like Microsoft Security Essentials but that might just be because I have been using Microsoft.
If you are using windows then i will suggest 'Microsoft Security Essential' a brilliant antivirus for windows system.
Microsoft Security Essential for me. However I hardly every download dodgy files, so never have an issue.
I recommend unthreat, it doesn't slow down my computer AT ALL which I can't say about a lot of antiviruses. plus I haven't had a virus since I downloaded it.
wow avast has a long list of supporters ! I used Kaspersky and i think it was one of the best ..then it expired and my ISP was offering Norton 360 at that time for free so i took it But i dont think norton is better than Kaspersky which i think is the best
Avast is a very good antivirus if you choose among free. Avast Antivirus free edition is as effective as some paid ones. Of paid antiviruses the best in my opinion is - Kaspersky internet security.
In my opinion, Avira is the best. I prefer to use multiple tools though, such as HiJackThis, Avira, MalwareBytes, Kaspersky Rescue Disc, etc..
