From those of you who have some experience, preferably some years with many sites and programs, what do you consider the top of them all, what have been the most rewarding for you and at the same time easy to use and set up? Any input is highly appreciated, specially if you can provide some good tips and information on how to get started, set things up, bring in the needed visitors/customers and make sure your website / affiliate site stays on a good level when it comes to amount of visitors / sales & income. What did YOU do to get a nice income online? Best wishes, TL
Thanks for the tip, could you expand some on that though? Online or physical products? How do you get the visitors and how do you manage to turn them into customers? Etc Best regards, -TL
Personally I've found this useful: Start some websites and blogs Get free traffic to those sites from various news posting websites like digg etc, myspace bulletins, facebook and so on. Join both commission based programs and pay per view / click programs and advertise all of them in different ways on your sites/blogs Update your websites and post news and bulletins on other sites at least a couple times a week to keep traffic growing and to keep people interested in coming back. Either put a couple full days a week to work on all of the above, or an hour or two daily. Enjoy the money coming in from clicks on ads, views, and commissions from affiliate systems and referrals. Total expenses can be ZERO and income can be virtually anything, depending on how good you're at getting visitors to your site and get them to join the programs etc. Will post more info on how to properly generate free traffic and ideas on what type of sites that are easy to run and keeps visitors coming back later on when I have some more time. Cheers.
Christ: All what? The method I described above works fairly good on getting visitors, if you have one type of site that you want visitors on that either is not a proper page to post on news sites etc like those mentioned above, or it has too little content making you not able to post much about it in such places, I would recommend to make another site on any topic you are interested in, that you update frequently. Actually it does not even need to be a topic you're personally interested in, just make a blog or news site on your own and surf the net and find various articles and news , videos and what not that you can post on your own site, and then you put an ad for your "main site" on this "traffic generator site" and then post frequently on other news sites stories from your own. This is very useful and can give lots of traffic - so put some monetizing material as well on the "traffic generator site" such as adsense ads or whatever you like. I often post comments on newspapers websites about various things happening and link back to my site with related stories, this alone often give me an easy extra 1000 visitors per day. I do the same on different forums, where I read about various topics and then see what topics are most popular on those forums then I post some related material on my site and post a quoted story with link in those topics in the different forums. This too often brings in another extra 1000 visitors a day extra. Just find places with lots of visitors where you are free to post such things and keep things on topic so it will not be considered spam and risk losing your posting abilities and you'll have a great source of extra traffic in very simple way. Best luck, TL
Is it difficult --for a newbie-- to get ads on a blog? Is there a step by step tutorial that can really break it down for me? Can I use Blogger? I have a Google account. Thanks
