I have tried AdWords, Yahoo Search and Clicksor. So far AdWords is the best for both volume and quality. Yahoo Search and Clicksor works ok too but not as good. Do you know of any other good networks that give high quality traffic?

Adwords is the best. Forget about the rest. None of them can test. :D

Its all about the ROI - MSN is said to convert on average higher than Adwords but not as much traffic. Alternatively you can try some smaller second tier ppcs and bid really low - 1 to 3 cents. Keep in mind if you try the second tier method chances are you will lose on most of them even on small bids but if you find one or 2 that bring in sales hey more revenue. I have made money in the past from GoClick but I havn't advertised with them for about 3 years, and since then their top bids have dropped to a fraction of what they used to be - I am not sure why.

It depends on a lot of factors.

We have clients that adcenter converts for over 200% better. This is using the EXACT SAME campaign as AdWords. Why is that?

Do you search for AdWords articles on MSN? Do you search for SEO articles on MSN?

I like to think that MSN users are a LOT less technical than Google users (and dare I say it, a little less "smart").

Take of that what you will.

I don't think so, Josh. If you are talking about "scale" then yes, yahoo does has potential to compete with goog for traffic, but not ROI as ysm convert pathetically compared to adcenter or adwords. I sometimes wonder if only totally broke teens use yahoo.

I have to respectfully disagree with you CanisMajoris. I have first hand experience using Yahoo Search Marketing. I ran a particular campaign and my ROI close to 400%. But i have to add here that my product is generally high converting and my landing page was compelling. I managed to achieve this with 2 keywords, so yes, i stand by my claim that YSM is Adwords closest competitor. And LOL, are you sure you had better results with Adcenter than YSM??!!.
