I wonder what kind of advertising you could recommend for my directory. I want small-medium text ads which are related to content on my site, which pays best and is easy to use? I have allfeeds right now on another website and the text and content is great but click payment is not veryhigh. Adsense is the best i know, but i´ve been banned for life it seems. Hope someone has some nice suggestions. Thanks
You could try something like Wordtracker on the submission page ("choose the right achor text"), or some similar tool. But on the other pages regular ads would be better. why are you banned from adsense?
Is it possible to set up another company or have a relative set up an account for you? I would not think it's so hard.. ? or maybe it's the site you are trying to place ads for, so whatever the account may be it's always going to be canceled? What are the topics you are seeking, static text links ads might work for you, although it's a totally different approach. The idea is that search engines all use links as part of their algorithm for deciding which sites to rank for certain terms, however I approach static link purchasing delicately.. the most benefit will start to appear only after several months and most people sell static text link ads by the month, so if you decide to do this, budget for what you think you can afford over the long term. Or -- hunt down "permanent link" offers, these are rare but do exist. If you are looking for more pay-per-click sites, you might also try overture... they are the pioneer of this type of service before google and you might like it. Just recently I think MS announced they might start offering a similar service. Eric
Thanks for the tip The reason i was banned was that they said they had noticed klicks coming from my own computer, this was a swedish website and a lot of friends and family regulary visited my website from my computer and explored all the functions and so on. I understand now how it could happen, and I also sent an e-mail to the swedish adsense team asking if i was banned for life. Their response was that they take my situation very seriously and they can´t let me have an account. I guess that is a synonym for "GET LOST"... well i dont really know... I never heard of anyone getting their adsense account back either. If I could prove somehow that I´m serious with my directory perhaps then they would understand. Sometimes you learn the hard way
