there are spots called heatmap on your blog, read more about heatmap, and under the post title is always the best place for ads

I learned that it gives you best results if you put the ads inside the content. You may use banner ads.

    Hi carshava

I'm agree, below a title or a post is a great place.

I usually leave one at the bottom of the page, but I have some other cool things there, so people scroll down and see suddenly see a big image ad there, it's very accessible.

    Good luck ;).

The heatmap provided by Google is a good source and start point, but depending on the layout you may change the placement to arrange it better into your own layout. I recommend you to apply small changes at once, so you can see the effects (positive or negative) along a week or so. If it has a negative impact you can roll back your changes and start again. This may take several weeks until you figure what is the best positions and may not be accurate (since your ads may suffer changes CPC or CTR along the timeline... for example, during Holiday season, Black Friday, or whatever) but you can get some ideas then... Hope this helps.

When it comes to blogger, ads would be more profitable if you put 1 in the header; then under post title; then inside the post itself.
