Sean Connery, Clint, Al Pacino, Kevin Spacey & Rob Deniro would be my top 5 actors, maybe Sean for being Scottish though seeing as there is no formulae for such an award and its just a point of view, albeit biast.
Kevin Spacey in "The usual suspects" is my all time favorite performance 2nd I'd say Clint eastwood in "In the line of fire". Of course if you ask the older crowd, you'll probably hear cary Grant
Samael is THE man. He is one cool cookie! I remember an interview with Samuel L Jackson. It was at the time when he had starred in the movie "Swat" with Colin Farrell and what he said was just class. He was being interviewed by a female British journalist in London and she said to him " So what was it like to work with Colin Farrell, one of our own here?" Samuel Says, "One of your own? As far as i was aware, Colin is Irish!" Journalist says, "He is but ya know they're so close to us, we just call em our own" Samuel says, "See thats the problem with you British, you are always claiming people that dont belong to you! We had that problem in America too...it's called slavery....." ha ha ha, the journalist did not respond I'm English bt even that cracked me up. cooooooool as a cucumber.
SJ in Pulp Fiction was sheer class, I've been trying to think of another actor I thought was better but I rekon I need to join the majority and give Sam J my vote (until I remember that other one).
what about best actress. This thread is sexist!!@@11 Where is Colleen when I need her to back me up!!!!!
Have any of you SEEN The Shawshank Redemption?? If you had I'm sure you would all be nominating Morgan Freeman. He was superb in that film.
Anthony Hopkins, Tim Robbins, Bela Lugosi <edit> posted before Mella mentioned Shawshank, honest</edit>
No one really will vote for acting skills on that one, it's all about who is the hottest chick in the media right now, and if she happens to get into a movie ... it's her
