The Benefits of Facebook Ads on Google AdWords

Hi all , I write to you from the reality of my experience, Facebook and Google are not the stars here as we all think. While the former is a social network, the second is a search engine, and the intentions and level of audience participation in each is completely different. On Google, people seek information and products and they want Facebook to connect with their friends. But despite these differences, Facebook Ads has a number of advantages over Google AdWords:

    - It is often cheaper

Google AdWords is usually quite expensive, even if paid unpopular words. Facebook, however, increases traffic on a very low price, their ads are much more profitable and very interesting especially for small businesses with small budgets trying to gain a foothold in the online environment.

    - The images or pictures in advertisements

Include images can serve as a visual aid for the ads. A picture is worth a thousand words, and Facebook has made a big advantage here compared to Google. In Google you can use images by creating your own banners, but do not usually have a good conversion.

On Facebook, however, is easier to get a small picture with text, which helps to capture the attention of target users. It is also useful if you want to show pictures of the brand and products.

    - More flexibility

The descriptions of the Facebook ads can be up to 135 characters, while Google AdWords allows only 75, which leaves more room for creativity as well as the social network allows the use of exclamation points, while Google does not. On the other hand, restrictions on Google when using certain words are higher due to copyright issues.

    - Highly segmented audiences

Facebook is much more useful to choose keywords and target audiences, while AdWords lets you know a lot about users. The advantage of Facebook is that it has more information about users, and these are recorded and then see ads, so that you ensure that your ads will show people that match the profile you selected through the words key.

On Facebook there are 11 different factors to select audiences:

    1. Location

    2. Age

    3. Birthday

    4. Sex

    5. Keywords (based on user profile information)

    6. Language

    7. Interests

    8. Education

    9. Workplace

    10. Relationship

    11. Connections

Despite these advantages Facebook also has some problems such as lack of conversion tracking, something that stands out Google AdWords, and the ability to display ads to a specific time of day, plus it is B2B advertising less practical in this network.

When someone searching for something using Google. Social segment browsing Facebook, sitting just for fun. I think Google is for business and Facebook for fun. Google brings visitors and potential customers. Facebook brings visitors to traffic.

Very excellent conversation about Google adwords and facebook ads.
    Facebook ads Pros & Cons
Facebook ads are affordable. Its mostly used for brand naming.Facebook ads will drive more traffic we cannot expect ROI. And we cannot able to track facebook ads as like Google adwords.
    Google Adwords Pros & Cons
Google ads most probably expensive. We can easily track our ads and visitors. We can get relevant ROI

Major thing about Facebook though, as with Display ads on Google.....They are still blasting a cross section of people who may/may not be interested in what you are selling...With Adwords (Search) you are only advertising to people who have shown an interest in your business or what you sell via a specific keyword...

Don't forget that Google allows your site to show up in the search results pages of Google's distribution partners like AOL and Ask.com. Also you can have your ads show up on sites in Google's content network (site-targeted campaigns are based on a cost-per-thousand-impressions). Google has also limited, but good demographic targeting, allowing advertisers to select age group, gender, annual household income, ethnicity, and children/no children in the household.
Also, very often, costs of ads on Google automatically reduced to the lowest price required to maintain position.
