    Uhm... no. Links to the site is SEO as well, have you heard of backlinks? They are (most probably) the most important things in SEO - although sometimes marketing and SEO may seem to blend together.

    Well it depends on what goal you have in your campaign. if you're into traffic and site indexing, you should prioritize social media and other web2.0 sites. but if you want a better serp ranking, you should focus on content submission, press release, mentions and blogs.
