I have a list ( 200 ) article directory and I'd like to put one or more article in 200 article directory. ( In every article there is the link to my website )
is there the risk of the ban of google ?

    Best regards
    Paul

I don't think so.. If you don't hide texts and/or links, that will be fine..

I've been penalyzed (not banned) by Google for using hidden text.

Google will not ban you for having backlinks. I'm so curious and strange why you ask for this question.

    No...No risk

Just a tip; sometimes its better to just submit to 10 - 20 of the best article directories than waste your time with all 200 directories.

You would not get banned, that is what google wants to see is links from other sites. But of course you should stay away from the black hat stuff.

By hidden text, do you mean having say white text on a white background?

Like here Awesome Proxies if you select the text, you'll notice I just put in "List of Free Proxies" over on the left under the banner. I made it white because otherwise it stood out to much and made the site look bad. Will google penalise me for this? Should I remove it?

You have bigger chances to be banned by Google for posting on this forum, than for putting your link in the articles :D :D

Articles are a good source for traffic...

rochow, YES, you have big chances of being penalised for that...

White on white text is very obvious to the spider and a big no-no. You best take that out now...

He is probably asking this question because a lot of people are led to believe that, building links too quickly would mean being penalised by search engines.
