Well it was great match to watch and they finally survived the match with helps of low order batsmen. I think it's big advantage for England as they surly feel positive now!

England did a great job to draw the match. Its almost a win for them as they can come into the series in next matches.

hi...the first test has proven that this time ashes would be more interesting...anderson and panesar did a very brave job and kept aussie away from win....australia are really missing a quality spinner...

A little off beat... Dushan a friend of mine is a total Glenn McGrath freak and is always trying to compare his ability against his :D He even went on to the radar testing and boasts that he got to 156km/hr on one of his delivery's  Anyways when McGrath predicted a 5 nil win to Australia in 07 Ashes series 'Duki' (his nick name) took this as oath and dropped a whopping 2k sports bet  for a 5:0 win Aust. At the time the odds where 8:1, I remember telling him he's totally mad, should see a shink, get gambling counseling, and or some other therapy's cause that was just wrong. Now every time I see him he tells me to do the same ~go figure

Well I will go with England as they started well and just lost second wickets right now. Although history is with Aussi who never lost any matches since 1936 on this ground!

well aussies had a tough day at the office while the poms piled up 364/6 with an impressive run rate of 4...england batted well and it was helped by some indisciplined australian bowling..strauss was the pick of the batsmen with an excellent 161..engalnd would be hoping to reach around 474-500...

If the Aussies put on a solid batting performance as they did in Cardiff then we're in for a close one! ;)

I think England miss the chance to put huge score as they lost few quick wickets at the end but good to see Strauss is there and he can help to put England over 450 if lower order batsmen support him. England should think about 500 runs to make pressure on Aussi!
