    in seo there are so many terminology used so i wonder what is the real meaning of anchor text? is this is the clickable text to land on the page you are promoting ? and if it is Can we use keywords on the said text

    Anchor text is the text used to link a particular hypertext . Using your keyword as anchor text is one of the best seo tactic.

    Anchor text was initially proposed so that humans can recognize links on HTML pages. However, search engines also started using these and they form a integral part of SEO.

    it is the word that link to the page of your site, usually it is HTML coded. like our signatures here in the forum, it is a perfect example of anchor text.
