    Perhaps I'm wrong but I thought I read on here that the <!-- an-hl --> comment that is included in the ads was only inserted when a site was being validated.

    I see it my site and other sites in the network all the time. Is it me? Is the comment meant to be there? If it is meant to be there isn't it a bit of an obvious identifier to the SEs?
