PR1 is easy. just a few articles submitted to top article directories will get you PR1. or get a few backlinks form PR3+ pages. one single backlink from PR3 or PR4 page can give you PR1 depending on how many external links the link giving page has.

Usually a strong PR3 links is just fine

Or unique content updated daily can get you up to PR3

Or 50-100 article, directory, social sites and some unique content!!

Getting PR 1 is not all that hard. Just a few forums sigs and a couple of comments should get you there. But make sure those sites have at least some value.

The time can be as short as 1 cycle update which is usually done every 3 -4 months. On the backlinks, it doesn't has to be quantity. A few good quality high PR links is more than enough.

You can't say exactly but getting PR1 isn't that tough at all.

I've had sites acheive a pr1 with just some forum signatures and some social bookmarking, a refereence on an odd squidoo lens and - the icing on the cake - the odd article or link from one of my own sites as an extra.

Making a run with DigiXmas directory submitter, and a few Profile links has worked great for me. I have gotten many PR3-PR4 sites from doing just that.

Couple of backlinks from PR3 or even some from PR2 should easily get you a PR of 1... very comfortably! :)

I wouldn't be surprised it PR 1 was possible even with content alone and a few months. Hardly takes anything though.

My blog is new and I have 3 articles there submitted on article directory such as digg. There are times that I pay for links like weblinker.com for $5 but when I check the link checker, the only that appears is on digg. I also check the google if they indexed it but, I can't see it there too. :(

    Any help please!!

red_sky: You just need to get some High PR dofollow backlinks and see how quickly your site get indexed...It all goes in a cycle and you need to get backlinks from quality websites (yet High PR and Dofollow...take care of that)

One or two relevent links has worked for me. Those sites need a PR 2 or 3. Good luck

Thank you for all responses. Now I'm interested also the time period that shows the PR up.

It might not be until the next PR update (history says every 3 or 4 months google has an update.) I have seen them update at other times but not likely
