About me: I have some very limited experience in SEO and internet marketing... and i have never touched base with an affiliate program before. What I want to accomplish: through amazon affiliates... generate a $50/day average ($1500/month) in 3 months time; $100/day average ($3000/month) in 6 months time; and a year from now, generate $200/day ($6000/month) this is my first post on DP... i will follow up in 3 months....
Good luck with your quest. If you pull that off, you've got some mad skills. Don't wait 3 months to post here though, please chart your progress weekly so we can follow along. thnx, PuReWebDev
will do... however, won't be much to chart in the first few weeks since it will be mostly grunt work..... i will follow up once i make my first amazon affiliate sale! hopefully in 2-3 weeks time...
Wow...that's a really high target for me ^^;; But good luck with your quest, please do post your progress everyday here. I'm interested to know What's your first plan to accomplish it?
Please keep us posted, and at the same time, please keep a journal of what you are doing. If you are successful you will be able to turn it into an e-book to sell online. Many people will be interested in buying an e-book detailing an Amazon success story. I am lucky if I get $10 a month in sales from Amazon. It may be the niche markets that I target - don't know for sure, but I do know that I make a lot more using my own products along with affiliate products from CB, PayDotCom, and Click2Sell. LinkConnector and Share-a-Sale also work better for me than Amazon. Somehow, I am missing something with Amazon.
i have a general idea of how i want to accomplish this... i believe my targeted niche has great potential if marketed correctly. although $200 a dollar a day would mean roughly $4000 in sale per day... i believe with enough work and 6 months of time, it is possible. Although i could be wrong and this whole thing could flop, im confident that i can reach the $50 per day mark with no problem. Like they say "aim for the moon, so even if you miss, you'll land among the stars"
To make enough money research lots of niches and make a least 10 amazon afiliate website, so you won't put all your strength in one niche
This definitely works. It's like taking many fishnets to go fishing, it simply increases your chances plain and simple. thnx, PuReWebDev
As long as you can sell one high priced product a day you can easily pass $50 per day. I sold a bowflex and it made me a little over $70.. high priced cameras, fitness equipment and electronics will work. Most people fail with amazon because they sell low priced stuff..
I have over 35 different niche sites that have Amazon products on them and the products and prices range from low end to high end. They are relative to the niche and do get rotated (when I have the time), but I still make more money from either my own products or from affiliate sites like CB, Chitka (sp?), etc. These particular sites are not e-commerce sites, they just have Amazon products plugged in here and there. Is that the difference? Do you need to have a total e-commerce site? What about Amazon widgets on a blog? Does anyone have success using them? Thanks to everyone that is taking the time to comment here. Even though I didn't start the thread, the information that is being contributed is greatly appreciated!
