1.) whats better than paypal, if you expect to make 5,000$-25,000$ a month?

I have an online magazine I plan to launch soon, and i plan to sell a subscription fee of either 5-10$ a month,
So what would be a good site to use to process payments,

(I dont have a online business, I'm just starting out so what kind of paper work would I need to legally start and online business, in order to avoid legal problems or having my money with held)

2.) what are the steps required to legally register an online business?

Please list an estimate of fees for things if you know how much getting started would ideally cost,

3.)what site would allow me to make the most money, without having all the legal documents needed by paypal?

(this would just be a temporary solution, that would help me raise the money to pay for all the legal documents and licenses i would need,)

    1. Merchant account is better as you pay less fees. Plus its transparent to the buyer as the payment takes place on your site.

    2. You need to register your business name in the country you're in. You'll probably need this business license/number for setting up a merchant account.

    3. Of course the easiest/cheapest to *start* with is probably paypal.

As suggested already, 1st is own merchant account, look at worldpay, netbilling wire card etc. second best is Moneybookers or 2co.com and then finally you have all the other 3rd party billers, check google for payment processing and then check google again for the company of your choice to ensure they are legit.

Check out solidtrustpay.com as well - you will not ever have to worry about minimum/maximum volumes or your account ever being frozen or suspended. They can offer you rates as good as 2checkout.com and they hold no reserves as most other processors do.

I'd have to second the merchant account.
Look, if you are really going to hit that volume, I would suggest talking to your bank.
In the interim, you'll want to start with Paypal, till you can justify it. Getting a merchant account is no easy feat for a start up.
