    Hi guys,

I just want to share the Advertising Network with the lowest CPC. If you're familiar with the screen shot below, you can quickly guess what's the name of this Advertising Network.

Last July 25, 2009, I received 2,336 and only earned $15.76! That's the lowest CPC I ever encountered and the lowest earning for a single day on a single site with more than 2,000+ Clicks. That's only 0.006/click. Isn't it awesome? Here's a screenshot below:

If you compare this with Adsense and Chitika, the lowest would be more than $100.00. (Based on experience, the lowest CPC that I encountered in Adsense is 0.01 and the lowest CPC that I encountered in Chitika is 0.03)

So if you don't want to waste your clicks from this CPC Ad Network, stay away from it!

I must say, that sometime the fault is not with the ad network. Many reasons can cause for a website to make poor CTR and it is not always the network fault.

Examples: the site does not get quality traffic (maybe from countries that the network does not has any ads from them) so the network displays their fill in ads which always lead to poor revenues.

Sometimes, one site can make a lot of money from a network while another site make poor revenues with the same network just because the traffic is different.

To my opinion, putting all the blame on the network is misleading. A good webmaster should try few ad networks and should know his traffic. Another example, sometimes in small markets (can be small countries or very unique niches websites) the advertisers just contact the websites they want to advertise in and not going through ad networks that can display their ads in places that not match their product. So again, the blame is not in the network.

Of course every network sell you stories, but it is up to the webmaster to match the best ads to his website.
One last example, sometimes, the service the network provides is unique and there are no other companies that provide with the same advertising platform, so unless it comes on the expense of other advertisers, why wont you use their services?

I only have Bidvertiser, Chitika, Adsense, Adbrite and Infolinks.

So far Chitika and Adsense are the top revenue sources for my sites.

I e-mailed Infolinks regarding their poor CPC, and they told me that it's really normal. If your visitors are outside US, it will be lower that 0.01/click or 0.001 per click. That's why it's really bad if you have a lot of visitors outside US. Adsense is far more better.

Bidvertiser is also not that good for my sites. Adbrite is quite average. So if I rank these 5 ad networks the order is:

    1. Adsense
    2. Chitika
    3. Adbrite
    4. Bidvertiser
    5. Infolinks

That's just me. I think Infolinks is performing well with other websites. :)
