The Adult Sites..

    My latest venture is heading in the Pornography websites. I just want to find out
    some things from webmaster who owned them and so on..

    I was thinking of owening a website with films mainly and probably some images.

    Couple questions.

    Is the porn industry to crowded for a newcomer site to make a profit for example if the site would have a steady flow of regular "users"?
    What good afilate programs are there for Adult sites?
    Do the Adult sites make an income via adsence and afilates and so on.
    Are there any specific methods or ways needed in prmoting Adult websites, that are diffrent from the usual?
    Any other tips i can get or anything else i should know?

    O and i just though of this, how much is my bandwith is going to be taxed compared to my proffit?

    Adult sites are very profitable.I think the profit and traffic comes only from a quality site.So first you have to find a best theme to start an Adult site, then find some marketing place.When ur site got enough traffic u can use some advertisers and affiliates.

    I advice u to join adbrite and paypopup.But this should only be considered after u get enough traffc about 5k per day.

    I've never been in the adult industry (and have no plans to)...

    but I can answer one question...and give an opinion on a tactic that should work good...

    first...you mentioned adsense...forget about it ;)...it's against the TOS....

    and for the advertising...i may not be 100% correct...but you may do good to approach some local porn stores, strip clubs, (some tatoo places), bars, etc...and try and advertise through them...

    theres tons of money in porn. If you get a site with good trafffic, your golden. Theres probably about a million different affiliates to chose from. check out gfy.com

    Thanx for the help but has anyone here actualy done this for them selfs and do all hosting services let you host porn?

    And should i actualy have sites or just categories and use referals but i doubt refferals are by pay per click,?

    That's a big market of people who do buy but the competition is huge. You need to be really good to survive. The worst business to start with they are going to eat you.
