As we continually check out Adsense earnings throughout the day... our impatience becomes so clear - why can't our income increase right NOW so we don't have to wait! Playing the adsense and SEO waiting game just comes with the territory however. Those constant dreams about earnings will have to wait.... But that doesn't mean we can't talk about it! In this thread I'd like you to talk a bit about: When did you start your site? How is it doing now? How do you hope it will be doing in a years time What is your dream (but reasonable) level of income your site will be producing in the next couple of years? How would your lifestyle change if you achieved that level of income? Let me start by talking about my own story. I started Leadership Expert (http://www.leadership-expert.co.uk) at the start of March, and have been SEOing like crazy for it ever since. Even though it was a brand new domain, I've so managed to grab Google's trust, and yesterday I received my first #1 ranking for a significant search term (3,600 searches p/m), however this is just one of 100 keywords I'm going after. Atm I'm earning about $3 a day with 300 uniques. My dream for the site is to be getting 5,000 uniques per day and hence earning $50 per day. I'm involved in affiliate marketing too, and so should hopefully be making $50-$100 in commissions also, resulting in a 'quit my job' level of income . I've only just started my job out of university, and it's 'pretty good' to be honest. Its a very good company to work for, but its terribly hard work and stressful, so I'd like to just be working for myself within a year or too, which should be achievable if I continue with my successful SEO techniques to dominate some great keywords.
