Is Yahoo banning people for using non related ads in a website? I hope YahooSarah could answer this question.
This is a fair question, but if you look at this in two fold way you might find the answer is pretty easy. 1. They provide the service to you since you know what your customers preferences actually might be. You might offer a site with what seems like a clear choice in ads based on content, but your customers might be more inclined to be looking for ads from another sector due to their age or needs. 2. If your visitors were not interested in the ads they simply would not click on them. They allow you more flexibility to determine the types of ads that your customers would be interested in as opposed to Google. This is a good method as you have more information available to you about your visitors demographics generally then the ad service does.
How could i contact Yahoo so they can answer my question about if they ban people for displaying non revelent ads in a website? Or did somebody here already contact Yahoo about this?
It can't be true, when I contacted yahoo about having problems with ads targeting on one of my sites. They said that one of the main issues they were having now was relevancy of the ads being served during the beta process and they were working to improve this all the time. Also that relevancy can vary from page to page and this issue will be fixed prior to the public rollout.
