The Ad Extension is free, the click on ad expression in the mobile is paid?

Anyone Google Adwords experts please clarify my doubt.
When I published an ad in Google Adwords I won't add my cell number in title 2 lines and url. But the Google ad extension displays the mobile number automatically. Of course the Ad extensions is free of cost.

If anyone is searching in their mobile, then click on the mobile number and make a call to the number (Ad extension), but not on the AD. Now the amount is detected from the account or it's Ad extension and call to click so it's free of cost.

    Please let me know.

You pay for the click, regardless if it's an extension or the ad itself.

how would google charge you for an entire call?
It charges you for a click :)

You're saying something like "writing an ad on AdWords is free." Well, of course it is. You pay for the clicks.
