Lately I've been looking for a way to build my twitter following. I bought e-books, joined websites in which you have to follow ppl in hopes they return the favor. I'll admit, it all works, but at a snail's pace, and plus there's no promise they will follow you back. Unfortunately, most twitter sites who promise to build your twitter followers operate on this premise. Well last night I found one website in which the concept is very different. Basically, it's something like adwords in which your tweet is published by tweeters who tweet on your keyword. This means you are actually reaching your target market with little effort on your part. The second best part about this site is it also allows you to make money the same way those who would publish your tweets make money from you. I'd liken it to adsense, being the fact you pose as the publisher, and tweet ads are fed to you based on some keywords from you tweets. They also allow you to change up the frequency on how often an ad tweet is sent to you. To entince you to sign up as a publisher, they let you see your earning potential when you enter your twitter name, or anyone else for that matter. I checked a few accounts that had a little more than a thousand followers, and their earning potential was a few thousand dollars. So now I am even more motivated to build my twitter following. Oh, and the third best part is when a new advertiser signs up through your personal referral link, you'll earn a 30% commission from their transaction fees. Not just once, but for the whole first year this Advertiser buys campaigns on Magpie! I put $20 into the system last night. So we'll see how it all works out.
