The $80 OR $40 logo design contest, you choose

Hello again,

I have used this section before for a logo contest previously and it was very successful so i have come back to use the services of the very talented designers on DP again.

This time i am making the contest F-L-E-X-I-B-L-E

This is how the money works.....

$40 = a logo that is static

$80 = a logo that is grahical (flash, moving etc)

You decide which option you want to enter but their will only be 1 winner which will be paid by paypal.

The logo name is contractors dot co dot nz

The winning logo must portray professional yet down to earth as you are appealing to both the company and candidates looking for contract work in IT, engineering, Management, Accounts, Sales etc. Not looking for a cheap builder logo.

post your entry on this thread and say $40 dollar entry or $80 dollar entry.

Thank you for your entry, here is your feedback;
The quality is good, i like the flash however it does not resemble contractors.
The logo appears confusing as visitors will think they are on a website called C Contractors.
Overall the design is good but not what i am looking for.

it hasnt even been open for 24 hours yet, you gotta give people time.

 

designers are on different time zones , it's better to give more time...

people advertising for $20 seem to get more response. However i will take your advice and let it run again and see what happens.

 

The reason being is because although the responses are greater than yours now the number of entries are usually a lot lower and don't drag on as they are usually faster paced contests.

 

I did both so you could see how the static and the dynamic images look-

The higher prized contests contests usually require more effort, and also alot of people want to see what others submit before submitting their own. No one really wants to be the first one, because in most cases, everyone will obviously try to make theirs better than the first few entry.. if that makes any sense.

Basically - you have to wait.

i love your flash design, i think it is awesome however i will not beable to use it as people in the sales, marketing, accounts office people wont feel the site if for them.

The job board i am doing is for contractors of all industries.

The two colour idea works really well. Overall very good but too niche.
If you want to re submit that would be great.

Hi there,

I have created this logo as a static one rather than animated. This is because I believe that a good logo should be created as vector. Having said that, if you decide to buy this logo I would be happy to add animation and supply it as a separate file for an additional cost (not exceeding $40).



Please let me know your thoughts.
