I was just wondering if this was true cause i heard this on a website that the average payout per click for Mesothelioma cancer was like $507 dollars:eek: Can this be true? Wouldn't google do something about it how would do they monitor these clicks more heavely?

Whats the most you ever made off of one click and for what subject?

Mine was $2.03 for something about hosting, i remember it well cause I had like two or three click a day for like $0.50 and that was pretty special:cool:

Think about it... It wouldn't make a whole lot of financial sense for Google to pay AdSense publishers more than 5x the amount it's even possible for them to collect from AdWords advertisers now would it? :) (You cannot bid more than $100 per click as an AdWords advertiser)

The stories with high paying keywords are simply stories.
Even the realistinc high paying ones with SmartPricing are not attractive anymore; focusing on your expertise area(s) is the best choice.

    LMAO!!!

Shawn said it, you cannot bid more that $100 per click on AdWords and i don't think there are companies that have so much money to lose. The highest pay/click i've heard is $26. I don't think there's ever gonna be something like this again.

See my page about high-paying keywords for some representative payouts, but read the cautions at the bottom of the page carefully. Remember, the price someone bids for a keyword isn't necessarily what they have to pay, it's often much less. And advertisers generally only pay the big bucks for ads only shown on Google's search results pages, not on random sites in the Google Network. (Well, they can use site targeting if they want to target other sites.)

nopes. my max this year was $8 in february.

If you really want a super tip then start a site for a market that's highly competitive and where there's a lot of big sharks in them. Many authority dating sites for example, due to very high competition hence bid war will spend $10-$15 per click so this means a decent adsense money to you. If you are in a lazer targeted niche, then those advertisers can't really spend more than the cost of 1/10 of the pajama there're wearing so you don't make much.

I see you're in the hosting service, it's a somewhat competitive business so you'll observe good adsense money for it.

You just need traffic lol...a lot of it...and that's the hardest part, i know! :)

It's not about belief. Believe or not believe, it's a fact and you must KNOW that's it's impossible.

Probably on webmasterworld. A bundy there once said he got a $60 click on a 2 weeks old site and the thread went 100 posts long when finally the chap came and said; "oh sorry, that's not $60 actually, it's $6" :p - don't pay attention to rumors!

Optimizing for mesothelioma, for example, is pretty much hopeless unless you're willing to spend a LOT of time and have a LOT of SEO experience. However, I've had success with the ones farther down the list... i.e., $2-3 a click. Everybody goes for the $100/click keywords, but they probably won't make any money off of that keyword.

Here's a site that is giving away a free subscription to their high-paying keyword lists:

Dammit there is no 500 dollar click or even a 50 dollar click..these stupid myths are busted.

And anyone who makes alot of money with adsense isn't doing it with 100 dollar clicks either.

Ha! I'm happy when my average clicks are above 15. It's been 10 for a long time but has improved over the past week or so. It has to do with the advertisers, either a new one is in the game feeling rich, or Shawn's theory about ranking higher = higher payout is true. I did jump a few spots this week.

Joel Comm showed a snapshot of like 5 clicks and day income of $1,000. That means he really got $200 per click, or he tweaked his account snapshot to sell his e-book.
