How would you order the top 5 most important SEO practices? I have a feeling lots of people would give different answers. Here's how I would order them by importance 1. PR ~ The higher the page rank; the higher you rank on the page 2. Domain Name ~ Running.com would have a good chance of ranking for "running" 3. Keyword Density ~ you know 4. Page Title ~ pack it with keywords 5. Prayer ~ Google is crazy I'm interested to hear what you guys think is most important.
be prepared for some flak about PR. Lots of people round here think it's unimportant. As it reflects BACKLINKS, it is, of course, of supreme importance.

PR ~ The higher the page rank; the higher you rank on the page =)) =)) this made my laugh ... stupidest afirmation i heard lately .. there are many factors and combining many techniques to get good rankings But PR is a waste of time . Content show me that higher PR means higher rankigs ? i never saw this afirmation as being true on the 400 sites i worked on since 2004 ... but maybe you are somekind of gurru ...
Most of the above fall under the on-page umbrella which is a fraction of what search engines look at. Links from relevant sites far outweighs on-page optimisation, although it is still vital. regular unique content, article submission, blogging, contextual link building are other things you should look into.
I believe that there are only 2 major factors when determining your rank in the search engines and getting organic traffic. They are: Relevant content that is well written and actually offers value to your visitors. AND Quality backlinks which use anchored text that you would like to rank for.
Google is not crazy, Google is sooooo easy to understand!! Maybe you think Google is crazy because in your top 5 you don't mention link building! Good luck!

I think the 5 things u share is very important to make money on the net.. Newbies must know the several basic things that u share..
do not confuse too much.Let me make it simple. get more links with anchor text=keyword [it is better to use variants] the links need to be from different IP.Throw out the density factor and all other BS.
No doubt link building is most important thing, more the link you have higher your site will come in search engine
