    He sold affiliate products.

Ex. If you put up a website selling books sold on amazon.com. Same idea. You arent actually selling the books but getting signups for doing it. Obviously his marketing tactics were very slick.

he didn't hit the 15K target. Got something like 11K.
I'm kindof suspicious abt the whole thing. Looks like he is advertising for easynicheproduct. If u think of it, whatever he subscribed to, in order to help him complete this challenge should get a couple of signups for ppl trying to copy his methods.

I am suspicious if he really made that money. Who knows whether he really got those opt-ins or not and who knows he really made these sales or not.

Yes, I am agree with you that all of his earning, he is giving to others, but tht he can give from his own pocket also. Afterall he is going to make big money by getting a lot of client in some way.

and who knows, may be easynicheproduct site is his own.....

Everything may be. Anyway in 2005 you saw a guy making 1 million USD with a new concept (milliondollarhomepage).. so I would not be surprised to see a website making $15k with the proper marketing skills behind

I guess the only way to find out it to try it. What the guy did is not somthing NEW or never before seen -- it was marketing a niche site, but done at speed.

You could do it matey -- many people do, you dont even have to do it that fast (if you work etc)

You could also make remain profitible instead of trying for a one-off 15k profit, by making a site the niche market want.

Kinda interesting the vicious cycle. The fact he accepted this challenge helps a lot in actually reaching this ridiculous goal.
