how is this a learning curve? this thing has been done many times before?

I got to say I never expected it to be a crafts site.

I've been to the site and I don't even see how he makes money from it yet.

 

Only 2 days to go, and he's still got to make another $7.5k... It's not looking too good!

 

Still, I'm sure most people would LOVE to do what he did and make just $7,500 in 30 days!!! If he can do that now, he can do the same thing month after month....aka rince and repeat. Heck, he could easily make $100,000 a year just from doing this for a year and keep growing.

 

Hell of a lot of hard work though! The techniques he's been using because of his budget constraints are clever, but VERY labour intensive. I'd be interested to see if the same results could be replicated more easily if you were allowed to throw a bit more money at the problem personally... Just call me lazy I guess!

‘Twice As Good As That Other Guy’ my *beep*. And that guy had two helpers, and the 15K guy was all by himself and got half way to his goal!!!!

So who is going to put up their $140.00 and duplicate these results?

It is so easy and simple to do, step-by-step instructions. Certainly all of us would pay $140.00 to make $10,000 in 30 days?

 

Well he also scripted everything on his own. If you wanted to start a membership site like his I think you would have to buy scripts unless you can write all your own scripts. However I am blown away by how he made so much money with such a little budget. His technique was so simple yet so effective. Posting in groups, forums and a little bit of myspace created a 6,000+ opt-in list in very little time. That just gives me so much drive to follow similar steps.

 

What type of computer skills are needed to make a website like the one the in 15k challenge?

 

HTML, CSS, PHP, and maybe some MySQL.

 

maybe if the guy wasn't already a 'internet celebrity' he would have a hard time. i bet he's going to use his celebrity and connections

 

He isn't a big internet celebrity; I don't know if anyone here knew of him before this. Plus, he wasn't doing an internet marketing product, so it wouldn't help anyway.

 

The products that were sold on the craft site. Did he get them for free? Or where they part of his budget?
