THE 1 Method to Drive Traffic!

If you could use only 1 method to drive traffic, what would it be? This will give you an idea of what you're really good at.

 

why you are asking only questions everytime. And your questions are really not upto mark. This is something which is worthless to ask.

Dont feel bad but its fact. No one in this seo world would drive traffic by one method only and if he do like that then he is the fool

Well, It has many techniques or strategy to gain more traffic on the site,...And if you are an SEO your must be more resourceful.

 

Hey I find that there are 2 approaches to this. There are people who try to do a lot of things and achieve results, but after they see what they're really good at and just focus on the 1 or 2 things, they achieve max results. It's just impossible to do everything at once. You need to know your strengths to be able to zoom in and totally nail what you're particularly skilled at.

I think this question has value as it leads to discussion about two different approaches to this. However, it might be different to everyone.

What's your approach?

 

There are unlimited ways to attract, grab, snatch, gather, pay-for, and lure traffic. Seems like your first question would be:
1) Who or what type of person/website would need or has a need to purchase or use my product/service?
2) If you can write down or get a general idea of what type would want your product/service. Try to define your audience first. Kids, middle age, job hunters, extra income folks, seniors, people who are rich etc.
3) If you can pin this down, then go for that type of lookers for your product. It's not that tough!
4) Go look for your product on google, yahoo, MSN. Write down the top 10 websites that come up for each search engine.
5.) Down load a free SEO toolkit. Get the meta tags and key words for each of the thirty websites your found.
6) Compare all the data. If used more that once, cross it off your list, including the top 10 keywords, this should leave you with about 20 keywords. If you have a website that has no page rank, do not think that your are going to compete with the top 10 keywords., Wrong. Use the 20 keywords that you have left. Try to emulate the meta tags, and insert it into your website. You will see a gentle rise in your hits.
7) Marketing - the quickest, easy way is buy massive visitors and back-links to your website.
PROMOTE, PROMOTER, PROMOTE = SALES
You must get your website set-up first, then PROMOTE.
People are not going to beat a path to your door, unless you expose you website to the public.

I would promote it through a combination of an SEO.. SMO SEM and link building strategy..

There wouldn't be just one... it would be a combination.

All you got to do is draw a plan for marketing your site effectively.. don't just focus on one strategy when you can drive traffic in many ways.. that makes better sense..

Well my approach used to be trying to everything, but after looking at what the top guys do, I found that they're really focused in their methods. And a few of them in their training actually advice to know about how to do everything, but just apply the 2 or 3 methods that really suits you to achieve maximum results. I'm focusing in more and more and ditching methods I don't particularly enjoy or I don't find so effective. I'm in the process of refining just a few methods atm.

 

That's right. I value the traffic from search engines more than other sources, because it is targeted and can be monetized well. To achieve that, optimize the targeted keywords in your site and focus the contents for human visitors

which is ur favorite method to drive traffic to ur website and how?
and u would have got answer for ur both question isn't that simple.

I haven't tried SEO but I only tried the old methods such as commenting to other sites, submitting to other articles etc. But I would definitely try SEO if I have gathered more information about it.

Write your url on the walls of bathrooms at large fortune 500 companies. Lots of highly targeted traffic from Blackberries.

 

WE all know that the best method is SEO because it gives us free traffic.
