That orb looks pretty cool Shawn. I may get one.

I was curious what the hell that blue sphere was on the KW page. That orb is pretty cool. I may buy one if my adsense keeps going like it is.

No Canadian access though.... I looked into it before. Unless they have added Canada to the mix, which would be great.

Just a note, I did a search for 'orb' before posting this thread. The search came up empty. Had I found Shawns orb post, I would have just added it there. So it seems the search feature is not all that useful:

I find the search box to rarely be helpful just due to the fact that every SEO term is either too common or is an abbreviation so it is too short.

Simple things like there was a time I was looking for specific info on site map's. At the time "site" was too common and "map" was too short. D'oh

Yea, the search feature has always bothered me with these vbulletin boards. 3 letter words do not apply and like YF said, you end up with a billion results for a search like site here at DP.

It would be great if the search could be done with two words 'pinned' together in quotations. Something like 'site map'. That would be ideal... Maybe it can be done and I just havent been educated.

I end up using site:forums.digitalpoint.com searches at Google when I want to find something specific. :)

    Thanks Shawn,

That works very well. Just tested it a few times and the results were bang on. Someone should incorporate that into vbulletin.

sean how about putting up a Google search in the forums. its part of AdSense and you'd get a % of the ads clicked on in the search results.

this would prolly help all. :)

That orb does look pretty cool... just what I need. Six computers in this room and now I'm obsessing over a glowing ball. AArrgh. I'm way too much of a techno-geek.
